IRO, a Paris based fashion brand, was founded by brothers Laurent and Arik Bitton in 2005. With a background in the music industry, Laurent and Arik decided to channel their love for music into a different medium: fashion.

Inspired by fashionable women from their inner circle of friends, they decided to create a clothing line that had a distinct vintage feel, while at the same time mirrored a nonchalant, easy chic style. By combining great craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the finest materials, the IRO collection found its unique voice within the fashion world.

In 2006, the first IRO store opened its doors in Paris’ famous Saint Germain des pres district. The flagship was quickly followed by a location on Rue Vieille du Temple in Le Marais. Later in 2011, two additional stores opened on Rue Etienne Marcel and Rue Saint Sulpice. IRO has over 15 stores worldwide today, showcasing both Men’s and Women’s ready to wear, accessories, footwear, and small leather goods.

2014 will be a very exciting year for IRO’s global expansion, as the brand is set to open stores in Los Angeles, New York, London, Munich and Copenhagen.

A new ecommerce website went live at in May 2014.

As the IRO brand keep growing, the collection can now be found in high end boutiques and department stores in over 40 countries worldwide. Some of these include: Barneys New York, Nordstrom, Le Bon Marche, Lane Crawford, IT and Harvey Nichols.
