Replica Los Angeles was inspired by a photo of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed by photographer Mick Rock, serving as a launchpad to create a line of sweaters fashioned as 70ʼs rock t-shirts graphically rendered in prints, jacquard and intarsia knits.
Now into its 3rd season, the Replica Los Angeles SS18 Collection continues to incorporate the tenets of its original inspirations of glam rock, punk and Jamaican ska. These influences – fused with a snapshot of LA in the 70’s & 80’s, have been translated into a collection of vibrant and playful fine gauge knits. Bright colors and California living offer fun and indispensable tanks, tees and old-school track suits that will become season favorites and best sellers.
The authenticity and sophistication of Replica’s references and the quality of the knits, simultaneously offers a high fashion edge that has had the best of the industry’s retailers keeping tabs on this quickly budding collection.
